Graduate Structural Engineer Newcastle £20,000-£26,000 AB302 This in an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in Newcastle. The busy team are looking to actively expand their Structures team, meaning there is an urgent requirement for a talented graduate to come on-board and develop their skills in their early career. About the company My client is a well-established, award-winning consultancy based in Newcastle. With offices dotted around the major cities, my client provides high-value and sustainable multi-disciplinary services across the UK. Typical projects range from engineering within the industrial, residential, commercial, healthcare, education and leisure sectors - ranging from small new-build residential schemes to much larger, multi-million-pound high rise buildings. In order to be considered for this role as a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will; Have a degree in either civil or structural engineering (2:1 and above) Be a keen leaner with a can-do attitude Have excellent written and verbal English communication skills Have strong inter-personal skills with the ability to work well within a small team What will be expected of the successful Graduate Structural Engineer? You will liaise with other members of the team, including more senior engineers and technicians to provide accurate drawings You will use your knowledge of AutoCAD and other design software to produce structural drawings and calculations While being accompanied by a more senior engineer, you will help to represent the company in client meetings, site visits and site inspections You will work, both within a team and independently, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
