Payroll Clerk

THE OPPORTUNITY: This is a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a well known brand on permanent basis. You will be an essential part of the finance team, and be solely responsible for the monthly payroll processing of the business. A keen eye for detail, a number of years payroll processing and the ability to multitask and take ownership is essential to succeed in this role. This role will be offered on a full-time permanent basis. THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: - Processing the monthly payroll for circa 1600 staff - Processing new starters, leaver's and contractual changes - Calculating manual payments - Providing advice to employees in relation to their pay EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: - Previous experience of working in payroll - Knowledge of payroll processing and PAYE - Experience of using Sage 50 Payroll - Strong organisational and time management skills - Excellent communications skills and a flexible approach to work - Good PC skills and proven ability in using Excel Macildowie is a specialist recruitment consultancy with a rich history of enhancing the careers of professionals across the Midlands and the Northern Home Counties.
