Become a Newcross Nurse As a Newcross Care Assistant, you will be: Assisting with person-centred day-to-day tasks Aiding with any clinical requirements Helping with development and progression Building relationships with service users and their family members Encouraging integration and participation within the local community and other residents The ideal candidate will be dedicated and compassionate, who will uphold our caring philosophy with a person-centred focus, whilst promoting the dignity and independence of our service users. Eligible after working 180 hours or the successful completion of a 6 month probationary period. Requirements of the role: Right to live and work in the UK Valid current NMC registration Over 6 months post-qualification experience in nursing We require 2 referees. One of which must be your current employer and one from your previous place of work The ability to work with and lead a team of healthcare workers to improve the lives of our service users Certification in practical Moving & Handling course in the last 12 months Access to a smart device with internet to manage rotas via the HealthForceGo app Knowledge of compliance requirements and medication administration The ability to perform well and make decisions in times of crisis Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory.
