Gateline Assistants/Customer Assistants Required for Yeovil and Local Stations - Excellent Opportunity Weekly Pay Duration of contract: 6 months Hiring event: Monday 23rd March Start Date: Tuesday 24th March Locations: Yeovil, Salisbury, Tisbury, Gillingham, Yeovil Junction, Crewkerne, Axminster, Honiton. Requirement: x4 members of staff to work a set 20 hrs per week Monday to Friday. 4 hrs per day 0600-1000. The Role: This client's latest ticketless travel survey undertaken as part of our DFT Committed Obligations has highlighted that an Exeter route suffers from high levels of ticketless travel. This is where you would come in. Checking tickets of those customers travelling between Exeter lines while providing a high level of customer service and representing South Western Rail. Day to day, you would be working with Revenue at one of the stations specified, checking tickets as passengers come through the Station either on their way in or way out, if they don't have a ticket you would be liaising with the Revenue officers to direct travelling customers to the ticket office to purchase a ticket.
