Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing business in North Hampshire who provide a much needed service to the local community and have an outstanding reputation for customer satisfaction. Supporting a large finance team and working with the Finance Manager, the position will be responsible for a varied range of tasks including; - Posting journals - Accruals and prepayments - Assisting with management accounts - Bank reconciliations - Variance analysis The desired candidate will be a part qualified accountant studying towards their CIMA/ ACCA. Previous experience of working within a busy finance team with involvement in the production of management accounts would be preferred. Intermediate Excel skills are required as well as the ability to communicate at all levels across the business and demonstrate a professional manner and positive approach to the role.
