An innovative marketing agency in Cirencester is looking for an ambitious Senior PHP Developer to drive the back-end development of top end experiential websites & mobile applications for a range of big name international brands across retail, automotive, public services and more. Joining a friendly and creative department you’ll work closely with creative teams to deliver dynamic large-scale projects. This is a role that offers plenty of variety and real scope to progress and no two days are the same. What skills you’ll need Proven background in back-end development using PHP. Experience using MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony or Zend. Previous experience to Drupal MCV would be beneficial. Knowledge of front-end development. Experience of Vue.js or React would be a bonus. Experience working with version control. Ability to overcome cross-browser compatibility issues. Experience working in Agile SCRUM environment. What you’ll be doing Joining a fairly new but highly dynamic development team your focus is to drive the back-end development of high quality experiential websites, mobile apps and business tools for some of the world’s most ambitious brands. Reporting into the Digital Lead the dev team sits within the creative department alongside creative and client services teams who you’ll be working closely with to bring client campaigns to life. You’ll be involved with all aspects of the development life cycle and will have full over view of projects from conception to delivery, everyone is a team player here. Further, you will be responsible for mentoring more junior members of the team and though this is primarily a back-end focussed role you will be expected to lend a hand to the front-end from time to time.
