Overview
Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to fill a full-time role within a Children's Services based in Dorchester, within the Child Protection/Children In Need Team The pay rate for this locum Team Manager job is £41 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract. Experienced Team Manager required for CIN/CP team in the West District (based in Dorchester). Due to the current COVID 19 outbreak, some of this role will be managed through working from home, and some will still require you to be office based and support the immediate responses of safeguarding children and their families. Due to current government restrictions around essential travel, you would need to be able to travel to or from your home to the office or remain in Dorset. Advice is that travelling back to see family members is not currently essential travel due to the risk of moving the virus across the country. Please bear this in mind when applying. Laptop and smart phone will be provided to support home working where appropriate. Duties: Supervising 8 social workers/ family workers who are working with children subject to child in need plans, child protection plans, PLO and into care proceedings. Requirements: A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work). Registered on Social Work England. Management experience is essential.
