IT Infrastructure Engineer

My client is a small MSP with big ideas. Using the latest technologies, they design, deliver and maintain solutions to meet their clients' requirements. They are now looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer - Infrastructure who is self-motivated, customer and service focused and able to work autonomously. You will be the escalation point for 1st and 2nd line engineers, so must have solid desktop support experience and communication skills. Ideally, you would come from an MSP background or be running a multi-site, server and domain architecture. Besides dealing with day to day problems and administration, you will be expected to contribute towards continually improving services and meeting future demands. The right candidate will be a team player with a good attitude and appetite for practical learning, coupled with the ability to leverage your broad knowledge of technologies, whilst keeping cool under pressure and able to document findings and communicate effectively. This is a varied and demanding role working with different industries and technologies. You will need to have previous experience of Networking, MS Windows 2012 plus, Exchange including Powershell, Office 365, VMWare and Cloud Azure concepts.
