If so, the AMXL Operations Integrations team is looking for an experienced Process Engineer with a strong record of achieving results. Amazon Extra-Large (AMXL) is Amazon’s full-vertical fulfilment and delivery business that owns the supply chain of heavy bulky and large packages from ordering to final customer delivery. Not only do we deliver parcels, we unpack, assemble and haul away old items as needed. This role is an opportunity to jump on board a fast-growing and agile business laser-focused on delivering excellent customer experiences in the complex heavy-bulky space. The Sr. Process Engineer is part of the Ops Integrations team responsible for driving process benchmarking, audit and improvement initiatives for EU XL Delivery Stations. This individual will be responsible for designing, managing and executing next level XL delivery station processes, equipment and operations. This is a unique opportunity to own new innovation projects that will define next generation white goods delivery model. We are looking for passionate hands-on leaders with experience in process or operations engineering in manufacturing, production or distribution environments who can effectively innovate on behalf of the customer in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. This individual must have strong project management, data analysis and forecasting skills with preferred background in last mile operations. While the role is listed in London, we will consider virtual candidates based out of UK locations. Responsibilities: Drive standardization, documentation of core design and process elements for EU XL Delivery Stations to reduce variation, cost and defects. Deign, implement and track adoption of new process innovations across multiple regions in collaboration with other functional areas - Supply Chain, Transportation, Sort Centers, Fulfillment Centers, Launch, Procurement. Create concise and compelling written business proposals that describes solution, impact and recommendations for senior leadership. Identify opportunities and perform experiments to create processes that increase customer value; determine root causes of "defects" in performance through deep dive data analysis and process observation Coordinate with Tech/Software teams driving operational execution of software enhancements Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent industrial/manufacturing background Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar process management role, ideally in fast-paced industrial, logistics, distribution, last mile or production/manufacturing environment Demonstrated Process Engineering skills and excellent Project Management skills Demonstrated success in hands-on process development and improvement Must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holiday with up to 40% travel within EU. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications MBA, MSc or MEng (Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent) Certified OE Black Belt, Green Belt or Lean Sensei Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and the MS Office package, MySQL, Minitab Experience using Quality-Statistical tools such as PFMEA and various statistical techniques such as control charting, pareto, or histograms. Experience with simulation and 2D/3D modeling software Demonstrate a track record of problem-solving and analytical skill, and of achieving results in similar work or operational environments Fluent in at least one European language To submit your application, please click Apply.
