I am currently working with a fast moving, exciting growing company based in West Sussex who are on the look out for the new Purchasing & Logistics Manager, working with an excellent, stable team and a reputable company with promising plans for growth. Key Responsibilities for the Purchasing & Logistics Manager: Manage a small team within Purchasing and Logistics, ensuring KPI's and targets are hit Produce weekly, monthly and annual reports based on KPI's and Supplier Performance Negotiation of contacts, ensuring quality of service is provided Ensure forecast upcoming demand for services and products for key accounts Optimise all stock levels, reporting on rating Oversee all shipping of all lines, and customers, predominately from Far East to UK, however covering EU and USA on an ad-hoc basis Key Attributes for the Purchasing & Logistics Manager Excellent and adaptable management skills Experienced in dealing with the Far East on a regular basis IT Skills a must - Excel to a high standard Import/Export Shipping experience, alongside documentation and process Conscious of Health & Safety Measures This role would suit someone working as; Purchasing Manager, Logistics Manager, Procurement Manager, Operations Manager, Supply Chain Manager
