Overview
Quality Engineer A Quality Engineer is required to facilitate Quality for a long-standing engineering specialist with an excellent market share and an innovative set of products. You will help promote the strong end to end Quality mindset in the business. As a Quality Engineer you will host Audits, investigate NCRs using a range of methods such as 8D, 5Y and Ishikawa. You will work to ISO 9001:2015 standards across the business and get involved with maintaining accreditation. As a Quality Engineer within this organisation you will need: Excellent communication skills Strong Manufacturing background ideally with knowledge of Welding, Casting and Fabrication production techniques Understanding of Lean Principles Process improvements to reduce impact of poor Quality Experience of Supplier / Internal / External Audits Customer complaints resolution Strong Analytical skills Good attention to detail IT literate Able to read engineering drawings This is an excellent chance for a Quality Engineer to work with a talented team. The ideal candidate would have an HND / Degree or Apprentice in Engineering as well as time-served experience. This role is paying a competitive salary of £30k to £35k depending on experience.
