We will support you to do this by offering an extensive autism specific training programme. We encourage and welcome applications from people with lived experience of autism. Relative of autistic adult supported by Scottish Autism On a day-to-day basis, Support Workers enable autistic people to complete all activities of daily living, which includes personal care and household chores. You can also expect to be out and about supporting autistic people to access their communities and to take part in activities of their choosing, which is great fun for all. Staff member, Tayside Area Services Scottish Autism is currently undergoing a period of digital transformation which will result in all documentation and processes being managed online and electronically from April 2020. Training on the new system will be provided to all staff.
