Facilities Manager Position (Soft Services) Temporary to Permanent (3-6 months temporary) Docklands, East London £40,000 per annum Our client if one of the UK's leading facilities maintenance contractors and they are currently looking for a temporary to permanent soft services facilities manager to join their team based in Docklands, East London. This role will be supporting and working with our client (one of London's most prestigious law fims) and will require a dynamic & forward thinker to take management responsibility for the efficient delivery of multiple soft services across the contract, driving excellent customer service. Through the management of your direct reports you will be ensuring that the day to day delivery of the service is maintained as per our agreed contract specification and scope. Responsibilities will include: Managing the delivery of Soft Services as per the contract agreed with the client Managing all soft service sub-contractors including, Cleaning, Catering etc. Will be in charge of all office moves and any temporary structural office changes Ensuring the safe delivery of these services within the statutory and company Health and Safety rules, regulations and guidelines Being customer focussed at all times and developing a strong working relationship with the client Being financially astute, to deliver the services within the agreed budget and to be proactive in reducing costs and driving efficiencies Having a thorough understanding of the SLA and KPI performance requirements of the contract and to minimise the risk of financial penalties Driving a one team approach through your direct reports, ensuring that all team members feel engaged and motivated Monitoring and managing the flow of work orders through the CAFM system and to engage with the appropriate stakeholders and suppliers as and when necessary to ensure that all works are carried out within SLA Managing P&L performance of the relevant department and all properties and personnel associated with it Recognising opportunity for cost saving initiatives and efficiencies and their implementation Developing a strong working relationship with client and customers alike through prompt response to queries and requests Attending client meetings as required and representing our clients best interests at all times Education/Qualifications Hold relevant professional Facilities Management memberships (BIFM) IT Skills including Microsoft Office and CAFM software platforms Working experience/Personal attributes Experience of working within a Facilities Management position, within Soft Facilities Services (Cleaning etc.) Significant management experience operating within a Corporate environment Proven track record in delivering effective customer service whilst maintaining appropriate operating margins Strong record of managing, motivating, developing and retaining a strong workforce both directly and through others Evidence of P&L knowledge and achievement Evidence of instigating positive change into a business Self-motivated, flexible and results orientated with effective inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and delegate effectively to direct reports Ability to mentor and develop, counselling and coaching as necessary Team Player Leader of people Ownership of task The ability to work within tight deadlines Drive, initiative and enthusiasm Package offered £40,000 per annum (accrued as this is a temporary to permanent position) A contributory pension scheme 25 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays on top Cycle to work scheme- discounted bicycles Access to our Employee Assistance Programme- 24-7 Health & Wellbeing Support If you are immediately available or seeking a new role, please apply to the advert or call Sophie on to register your interest.
