Bonfire Manufacturing is retained in the recruitment of an Account Manager for a well established growing food production company based near Grimsby. This opportunity would suit someone looking for a step up into an Account Manager role for the first time, or someone looking to be challenged and develops further under the guidance of a highly experienced and knowledgeable site team. The business current turnover is in the region of £50m and supplies into most of the major retailers. Reporting to the Commercial Director, your primary responsibility will be to drive performance across a key account with the view of taking on multiple accounts in future. You will be required to: Accounts Admin Support: All customer related admin internally and with the customer Data Generation to monitor/assess commercial performance Promotion Analysis Customer Monthly Sales Agreements/Joint Business Plans performance updates Category Management: Monthly Customer Category Insight Presentation pack generated from data received Adhoc Market Insight requirements Monthly Gap Analysis Store Visits – Collating Store Visits Information Customer Facing: Day to day interaction with Buying Assistants in customers Allocate a current small account for you to own to start to develop Account Management skills Day to day interaction with Customer Product Managers on NPD Critical Path Management actions Preferred Candidate: Experience within the Chilled, Frozen or Fresh Produce sector Commercial exposure in a previous position Ability to gather data from varied sources and generate reports Retail customer management advantageous Confident, personable, with a good team ethic Strong numerical ability, with attention to detail This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a successful Commercial team, in a fast-paced, driven and motivated environment within is a buoyant sector, in an ever-changing arena, that offers exposure and success.
