Overview
Our client is looking for Production and Assembly Operatives for their manufacturing facility in Lower Darwen. The work is split into 2 main areas: Metal Framing Production Composite Facaded Board Manufacturing Metal Frame Production This is taking rolled and preholed metal lengths cutting them to standard lengths Taking these standard lengths and building a Sub frame and riveting together Sub frames then get bespoke pieces of metal added to them to create a final frame These final frames get attached to houses around the country Composite Board manufacturing This is adding a brick to a board that goes down a production line and put onto Racks These boards are then cut on a waterjet machine to be able to be attached the framing we have made Anyone with any sort of metal or woodworking background would be ideal, but full training is given so anyone who is good with tools/diy would quickly pick it up. The position is initially temporary but may lead to long term work for the right candidate.
