Logistics Manager - VR/20824 The Company & Role: Our client, a leading vacuum insulation panel manufacturer, is currently looking to recruit a Logistics Manager for their team in Kent. Duties: Your responsibility will be the global availability and management of the companys container fleet, setting inventory levels, forecasting and fleet balancing with efficient asset repositioning. Your role requires the establishment of new logistical solutions, the development and review of standard operating procedures for container movements, cooperation with local and global logistics partners and the booking and control of time critical, life-saving shipments/deliveries. You will be managing the logistics team, the budget and partnerships with airlines, forwarders and couriers. Requirements: You should be experienced in Logistics and/or Healthcare, like to work in a dynamic environment with a friendly and highly motivated team. Excellent knowledge of Freight Forwarding (Air, road and sea freight) and understanding of general customs processes is mandatory. In Return: You will receive a salary depending on experience.
