Warehouse Operator
Overview
The Role: Fircroft are proudly working in partnership with specialist chemical business Lianhetech to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operator. Recruitment is due to large scale site expansion. Do you have the required skills, knowledge & experience to support the business? We are looking for a experienced Warehouse operator, ideally with a Flexi / Bendi Truck and counter balance license plus plant / COMAH site experience. The role will work Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (Mon to Thurs) and 8am -3pm (Fri) Duties will include: Issue Material to First in First Out (FIFO) at all opportunities. Sample incoming raw materials as required. Load / unload raw material and finished product deliveries. Ensure materials are labelled and stored in appropriate areas as per Hazardous Consent Matrix. Ensure materials are correctly located within BMS. Prepare, label and pack shipments to customers' requirements and site standards. Stock / Cycle Counts and housekeeping checks will be required at least 1 per week. Ensure that all Environment, Health & Safety requirements are met including (but not limited to) workplace organisation, labelling, work instructions, risk assessments, permit issuing and control, COSHH assessments, housekeeping standards, wearing of appropriate PPE and operating within the environmental permit.
