Overview

The Company: Nigel Wright's Procurement and Supply Chain are working with a growing, well established manufacturing business to recruit a Materials Manager to support significant business growth and take responsibility for planning, scheduling, order management, coordination of resources and materials The Opportunity: The key responsibilities for the role include: Responsibility for Supply Chain planning processes within ERP which includes Demand planning, sourcing/procurement, capacity planning, and asset utilization. Focus on achievement of MPV and inventory turns goals while achieving Customer On-time to Request Generate and analyse inventory reports for the internal business and or customer use. Monitor demand horizon and escalates risks of supply/demand mismatch Communicate with production to insure the materials department has accurate production related information The Person: The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills: Degree educated in a relevant discipline Minimum 5 years EMS or similar experience with at least 3 at a senior level Strong personality capable of commanding respect of both the customer and the site operations teams demonstrating a high level of gravitas. Strong business acumen with entrepreneurial attributes. Excellent PC skills MS Office. Excellent analytical, report writing and presentation skills. Second language would be advantageous.
