We are delighted to be able to offer the role of Pharmacy Quality Improvement and Training Senior Coordinator within our Pharmacy department based in Leighton Buzzard. This is a newly created role within the team and has been developed due to the ongoing growth of the Pharmacy division within Polar Speed which operates across 2 sites Leighton Buzzard and Tamworth, candidates interested in this role if successful would be required to travel to Tamworth on a regular basis. As a Pharmacy Quality Improvement and Training Senior Coordinator you will work across all the divisions of the Pharmacy and Dispensary leading on all matters relating to Pharmacy Quality Systems ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements impacting on our Clinical Homecare service paying particular attention to the resolution of complaints and incidents in conjunction with the line managers and nominated individuals, you would be required to identify and deliver appropriate and preventative actions driving process efficiencies whilst protecting patient safety. You would Coordinate all training requirements for our teams in Leighton Buzzard and Tamworth, assist with the implementation of strategic improvement projects including process design and documentation, and team training. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who can demonstrate exception process mapping experience, and someone who is looking for an exciting and challenging role. You will work closely with our Pharmacy Director, Chief Pharmacist, Pharmacist and all associated Team Leaders so the ability to build strong internal and external relationships is key. Pharmacy, Healthcare, compliance knowledge would be a distinct advantage. ` Working 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 0800 and 1800 on a Monday to Friday basis, you must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours as and when required to meet our service requirements which may be of an urgent medical nature. Maintain an effective document review process ensuring Pharmacy documents are maintained, up to date and complete. 2. Identify gaps in documents and working with team members ensure they are completed fully. 3. Ensure compliance to all SOP’s by performing Self inspections. Produce and review detailed CAPA plans to ensure continuous improvement. 4. Maintain oversight of all staff training requirements and support line managers to achieve required KPI’s. 5. Maintain accurate records and ensure retention is in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. 6. Maintain the Pharmacy risk register and coordinate the delivery of risk management plans through team line managers. 7. Complete incident reporting timely and support the delivery and review of all agreed actions. 8. Support all pharmacy audits and coordinate delivery of all subsequent actions accurately and on time. 9. Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations. 10. Support line managers in maintaining the Pharmacy KPI dashboard. 11. Complete all relevant reports and administration duties accurately and on time. Key Skills: 1. High standard of organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. 2. An excellent understanding of all areas of driver and patient safety 3. Excellent attention to detail whilst working on multiple projects with different deadlines. 4. KPI management experience. 5. Ability to gain commitment from and influence management colleagues. Specialist Knowledge: 1. Basic Knowledge of quality management 2. Knowledge of UK Pharmacy regulation, RPS homecare standards; NHS policies and procedures. 3. Document control experience. 4. MS Office to proficient level (Word, Excel, Outlook) 5. Audits and CAPA management 6. NVQ3 or degree or equivalent
