Overview
REED Scientific are currently working with a leading Clinical Testing company based in North West. The company is recruiting for an Animal Technician to join their growing team. You will be involved in: - carry out day-to-day feeding, watering, cleaning and general care of animals - performing surgical and non-surgical procedures as a Personal Licensee under the animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 - Implementing new novel procedures relevant to animal technology - undertaking general laboratory duties in the Transgenic Breeding team Are you right for the job? You will have: -Science degree with previous experience of working in a laboratory setting -Full understanding of transgenic mouse breeding and technology -Previous experience of working in field of animal technology or working with mice -Home Office Personal Licence (PIL A and B) You will be joining a team that will shape the future of Cancer Research.
