Overview
Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a very successful niche digital agency based close to High Wycombe train station. They are looking for a UI Website Developer to develop beautiful website User Interfaces. The websites they are building are so bespoke that it is not suitable to use JavaScript libraries / frameworks so the successful candidate will be happy working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, taking PSD’s / Adobe XD and turning them into bespoke static websites. These will be presentational websites using special effects, animations, sliders so it is a very challenging role that requires extreme patience and accuracy. Skills: Excellent HTML5 skills Excellent CSS3 / SCSS skills Advanced JavaScript / Jquery Experience using version control like GIT Experience using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe XD and making templates with HTML etc. Experience using automation tools like Gulp / Grunt Knowledge of accessibility, performance and responsive web design Responsibilities: Writing pixel perfect PSD to HTML implementations Creating templates from scratch (no Wordpress / CMS / frameworks) Writing clean JavaScript plugins and objects Creating amazing UI/UX experiences If you are the kind of UI Developer that will enjoy doing difficult animations using CSS / Jquery, and you have the patience to build amazing looking and totally bespoke presentational websites for important clients, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. You will work alongside a talented team of UI Developers, Designers, Content experts to deliver incredible User Interfaces.
