Senior Buyer – Aberdare - £40,000 -£45,000 REED are recruiting of a Senior Buyer on behalf of a market leading manufacturer based in the Aberdare area. Down to the growth and record turnover, the organisation require more support towards the control of the purchasing function and management of high level clients. The Role: The Senior Buyer will predominantly lead the purchasing function. Whilst maintaining control of the sourcing process and internal parties to ensure best practice sourcing and pricing for the portfolio. Additionally Buyer will maintain on-going price files for the portfolio, whilst ensuring synergy is maintained between price and specification through liaison with design and production to ensure cost, complexity or risk is managed out of the product prior to it being specified. Finally, you will work with senior stakeholders, manage pricing and customer agreements, ensuring delivery times and quality is maintained. Profile Essentials: Manufacturing background (Print, Packaging, or Retail advantageous). UK and European supplier management. Far East trading engagement.
