Overview
Are you an ambitious private client & conveyancing solicitor who is looking for a new opportunity? If so, our client is seeking a solicitor to join its leading and well-regarded point of need team in Glasgow. Your role will involve a wide variety of caseloads split between private client matters and conveyancing. These will include (but will not be limited to) handling the ongoing administrative aspects of Lifetime Discretionary Trusts, advising on relevant tax implications, engaging with local authorities on relevant matters and checking draft Wills and Powers of Attorney. Equally, you will be responsible for sale and purchase transactions, re-mortgages, transfer of title, concluding missives and ensuring that clients’ expectations are met at all times. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic team and gain excellent exposure to high-quality matters, along with working alongside some of the most respected people in the field. You will be reporting to one of the senior directors, working alongside experienced solicitors in both departments. To be considered for this solicitor opportunity, you will ideally have relevant private client experience and/ or conveyancing experience. Both are not essential as full training will be provided. You will be either newly qualified or around the 2 years' PQE mark. The firm will offer excellent ongoing training and progression, as well as a competitive salary and benefits package.
