Overview

The FDS Finance Team has a position available for a self-motivated and conscientious finance analyst with a drive for continuous development. FDS is purely focused on providing IT Services as part of the DXC Technology group of companies across the UK and Ireland. With an annual turnover of $60m, you will account for Third Party Spend of approximately $20m a year across a number of vendors and processes. You will report directly to the Finance Manager but receive day-to-day task management from the UK&I Finance Lead. The key responsibilities of the role will include: Provide business partner support to operational managers at multiple levels, acting as a trusted finance expert Hold regular finance reviews and present on financial performance Perform analysis on the overall integrity of the P&L for areas of responsibility Act as the deputy for the UK&I Finance Lead, providing critical and trusted support Responsibility for month end close tasks including preparing and posting journals into SAP, ensuring strict deadlines are adhered to Assist in the completion of regular FP&A requirements including forecasting and budgeting Liaising with Procurement and Business managers to ensure timely recognition of costs Provide support to the finance intern to enable growth and facilitate learning Ensure we operate with a high level of financial integrity. Opportunity to partake in finance and business projects as allocated by the UK&I finance lead Operate within the Corporate Standards of Business Conduct, abiding by Health & Safety Rules and all other appropriate Governance structures. Role Details: Full time role, not less than 37.5 hours per week Expected flexibility during Month End Close This role will be based in Aldershot in the FDS UK Head Office. Occasional client site visits may be required. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum part qualification in CIMA/ACCA or equivalent with drive to continue studies Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels with both financial and non-financial colleagues. A dvanced MS Excel skills.
