Home based field Service Engineer – Permanent role - £33,000 plus – Fantastic Benefits. Groomfield Recruitment are looking for a Service Engineer to join our clients fast based Environment in the Burton Upon Trent area. We are looking for a highly flexible, self-motivated individual with exceptional work ethic, who is happy to work on nights away from home fully expensed. If this sounds like you, please read on The successful person will need to reside either on the M40 corridor, Banbury, Oxford or North of M62 near Barnsley, Bolton or Manchester. Requirements – - Heavy Plant experience, preferably working for and OEM (heavy vehicle/agricultural machinery would be considered) - Industry recognised qualification – HNC, HND, C and G, NVQ 2 or 3 - PC Literate with experience with laptop based diagnostic tooling. - Full UK clean driving license. Responsibilities – - Attend to all aspects of servicing and repairs on site and in our workshops (possibly working in German Factory – PDI work) - Completing accurate failure/job reports. - Working to a high standard. - Conform with site/customer and UK HS regs. - Complete daily time sheets.
