Overview
Are you a Microsoft Exchange guru ? Do you have excellent Window Server skills ? Would you like to work for a global company who operate from prestigious offices in the centre of Glasgow ? My client is looking for an experienced Exchange Server Engineer to join them on a 9 month fixed term contract basis (PAYE- salaried) You will be covering day to day business as usual tasks supporting their backend IT systems and providing hands on 3rd line support. The current environment is Exchange 2010 / Window Server 2008 r2, moving to Exchange 2016 Main responsibilities include: · Monitoring of servers and infrastructure applications · Support of Microsoft Exchange/IIS/DNS/WINS/DHCP/AD, ensuring full system availability. · Support and maintain all back office systems and attached services worldwide in both physical and virtual environments · Configuration and support of Active Directory services, Group Policies, as well as anti-virus and web servers. · Reactive monitoring using various tools Your skills should include: · Experience of Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server and supporting technologies such as AD, DNS, WINS, DHCP, GPO · Exchange Powershell scripting · Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016 mailbox migration · Virtualisation Technologies in particular Vmware vSphere · Skype for Business experience · O365 Migrations · Ability to work within procedures such as daily backup operations This is a fantastic opportunity to join this leading company who offer a great working environment.
