Theatre Team Lead (Scrub)

The Spire Sussex Hospital has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Team Lead with a focus on Scrub, to lead their friendly and supportive theatre team. The Spire Sussex hospital in Hastings is rated an ‘Outstanding’ hospital by the CQC. It is a 29 bedded hospital that offers outpatient and inpatient services for a range of specialties, including Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Urology, Ear, Cosmetic and General Surgery. Duties and responsibilities Work as a part of team that provide exemplary planned care for patients requiring perioperative intervention Support the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre, taking on the roles of scrub practitioner Ensure the team delivers effective patient care by providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership Assist the theatre manager to effectively maximise theatre utilisation Who we're looking for : You will be a Theatre Practitioner with current NMC/HCPC registration You will have significant Surgical Scrub experience Previous Leadership experience You will have experience of analysing staff and theatre management problems and coming up with viable solutions.
