As a Support Worker at Quarriers, you do not require previous experience or qualifications as we provide full training. We are looking for caring individuals who share Quarriers values. We have a variety of vacancies and hours in Quarriers Village, Bridge of Weir, Inverclyde. Quarriers have Investors in People Platinum accreditation and are one of only two social care organisations in Scotland to have this prestigious award. We also pay sleepover hours at £9.00 per hour. Please note that £9.00 per hour is for relief staff only, contracted staff receive £9.25 per hour. As a Support Worker, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with their personal care and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing. With the wide range of services we provide at Quarriers, we all work together with the people we support, their families, carers, colleagues and many more, as we provide numerous support services including: Individuals with learning, physical and sensory disabilities Vulnerable families and children Homelessness Epilepsy Autism Addictions Mental health Dementia Where applicable, successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date. Please note that IT skills are required for all Quarriers vacancies.
