Overview
Maintenance Engineer, Thetford, £40,000 - £42,000, 4 on 4 off Maintenance Engineer with experience and knowledge in both electrical and mechanical maintenance required to join a food process and packaging company based in Thetford. As the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be Electrically biased and be required to perform Electrical and Mechanical day to day maintenance on production and packaging machinery. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for: • Diagnosing and rectifying Electrical and Mechanical faults • Carrying out reactive maintenance work • Working with a planned preventative maintenance schedule • Continuous improvements projects • PLC Fault finding Knowledge and experience of a food manufacturing, packaging or FMCG environment is advantageous but not essential for this maintenance engineer position. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have completed an Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold electrical qualifications to NVQ level 3 or above. This maintenance position would suit the following: Multi skilled Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multi skilled Maintenance, Shift Engineer.
