Overview
Brand new opportunity in Central Bristol for an experienced Senior Embedded Engineer to join a brand new Design Services company who helps their customers create ground breaking products. Our client is setting up a new Software team in Bristol and is seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Engineer with strong C/C++ and linux skills to work on a variety of interesting projects in Computer Vision, AR/VR and IoT at all levels of the software stack - from bare-metal and low-level linux kernel drivers to user-space applications and HTML web-apps. Suitable candidates will have at least 5yrs expertise with experience of: Embedded C/C++ Git linux user-space or kernel development. Driver development (e.g. DMA, MIPI, I2C) Video and audio applications Python, shell or other scripting languages The successful Senior Embedded Engineer will have a calm , positive attitude and be capable and happy working in a small team and also working independently. You need to be willing to work closely with customers and able to work with some level of uncertainty. This is a superb exciting opportunity where you can really make an impact.
