Overview
Trainee Paraplanner Location: Huddersfield £23,000 - £27,000 Our client is a well established independent financial planning practice who, due to their ongoing growth, has an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Paraplanner to join team. Working out of their offices based in Huddersfield, you will be supporting the Financial Planners in preparing client financial plans, reports, researches and analysis; whilst ensuring that the preparation of advice for clients is of the highest quality and delivered in an efficient manner. Responsibilities Undertaking analysis and proposing solutions for individual clients Compilation of research material for individual clients Obtain illustrations/quotes for all new business, together with supporting literature Liaison with clients, providers and consultants to obtain required information Problem solving on complex cases Report writing, ensuring that all compliance matters are covered in the suitability report Handling on-going servicing queries on behalf of the advisers Establishing and maintaining files and records and ensuring outstanding data requirements are followed up Telephone answering as and when required To meet and greet customers and insurance representatives as and when required What's in it for you? 3x salary death in service 3 x salary critical illness cover Pension scheme 22 days holiday, increasing each year with longevity Work from home flexibility Free car parking Full support for career development, including exam and study costs. Dress down each and every Friday Regular off-site training events The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working within Financial Planning - preferably within an Independent Financial Services environment, however we welcome applications from graduates or those looking to pursue a career as a Paraplanner. Qualifications are not essential, but you will need to be prepared to achieve the level Level 4 diploma over time and all study support is provided. What is essential is that you are passionate and dedicated to a career in wealth management as well as having solid communication and articulations skills.
