Overview
Conrad Consulting is currently looking to recruit an experienced Planner for our client, a large construction and specialist sub-contractor. The Role Reporting to the Senior Planning Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the pre-construction and project teams with the planning and development of all the master programmes for a project, these include: Target and contract Programmes Short-period programmes Sub-contractor programmes You will oversee the accurate reporting of progress against all pre-determined programmes and ensure this is communicated effectively to all levels. This will involve the creation of regular reports to outline project progress and working closely with site teams to ensure cohesion of project information. The successful candidate will also oversee the preparation of phasing plans and logistics for any live projects or for tender submission purposes. You will plan project work effectively and identify resource requirements needed. In addition to the above, you will also be responsible for: Identifying and assessing any programme risks Effectively liaising with all parties involved (internal staff, design teams and construction teams) The Person My client is looking for someone with at least one years' experience in a similar role within a construction environment and someone who has a sound knowledge of construction sequencing. In addition to this, the ideal candidate will have the following Experience using Asta Power Projects Strong knowledge of construction stages Knowledge of residential developments Experience of planning in any software In return, my client is offering a competitive salary of around £45,000 - £50,000.
