Overview
Are you looking for a new role in a rewarding care environment? We're actively seeking experienced Care Assistants to join our team in Totnes, Bishopsteignton, and the surrounds, encouraging our service users to live a rich, independent life. In this role, you'll work as part of a close-knit, collaborative team, delivering care in the home. Without support from people like you, these individuals may live a life in specialist units or hospitals, rather than in their own home. The Role 24 hour shifts are available (10.00-22:00) with a sleeper shift, to care and support a young lady in her own home in Totnes. Experience with Autism and Learning Disability is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided. Day Shifts are available to care for an elderly lady in the Bishopsteignton area. Hours vary from 07:00-12.00, 07:00-13:00, 10:00-14:00 or 11:00-17:00. Previous Dementia experience is desirable. About you With experience of caring professionally or for a loved one under your belt, and with a valid certificate in Moving and Handling, and the right to live and work in the UK. We also expect you to demonstrate our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness on every shift. Passion and determination to bring comfort and joy to our service users is a must. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement. What will you receive?
