Overview
Join us today and help us change the lives of children As a Children's Support Worker in Torquay and the surrounding areas of South Devon , your duties will involve delivering person-centred care to service users, in line with their care plan.You'll need to have a real awareness of their emotional, social and physical needs and get involved with day-to-day tasks such as shopping, cooking, eating and getting dressed. The Role In this role you will be caring for children across a variety of ages ranging from birth to 5. The tasks that you will be supporting with include assisting with various checks across the nursery, contribute to staff meetings, ensuring that the nursery unit is clean and tidy, monitoring children across various activities and facilitating a safe and nurturing environment. To be eligible for the role, you must have a minimum of a level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare relevant to the early years sector.
