A fantastic national Top 20 firm of chartered accountants who due to acquiring a new portfolio of work are looking for an audit Semi Senior and Audit Senior to join their team near Sittingbourne. Client Details Based near Sittingbourne, the firm acts for a wide spectrum of clients across very varied industries, sectors and turnovers. Alongside a larger proportion of smaller sole traders partnerships and limited companies under FRS105, the firm also acts for a significant number of larger OMBs, SMEs, not for profit and larger corporates with audit requirements. The firm is a small/medium size with long serving managerial professionals supporting Directors/Partners and team of qualified/part ACA/ACCAs, AATs, trainees and administration support. The firm provides services across the range and has developed very long standing relationships with clients, partnering with them and working as all round trusted advisers. The environment offers a flexible approach, along with autonomy to pursue areas of interest. Description Joining the Kent offices as an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior or Senior, as a key part of the role you will be preparing accounts for wide ranging clients, taking up at least half of the responsibilities. Alongside this you will have involvement in other wide ranging, general accountancy practice services and assist managers and partners on wider project work as you develop within this team and role. Should you bring existing audit experience this will be utilised and built on. If you have no audit experience however, bringing an accounts and tax focused background to date for instance, but have an interest in developing audit skills and can clearly demonstrate this, training is on offer. You will have the chance to develop the technical skills on this side as well, assisting on the delivery of a range of audits across the firm. Profile The role will suit a Part qualified or qualified ACA/ACCA candidate- continuation of training contract will be offered if required and claw back of training cost help can be investigated, should the right candidate be subject to this on resigning from their current post. You must have at least 2 years, or more ideally, practice experience preparing accounts/tax etc and must have an interest in developing audit skills, should you not bring these already in your career, so whilst prior experience of audit is a bonus, it can and will be trained, should you be able to demonstrate the abilities, aptitude and interest to develop on this side, as well as building further on your current technical skill level and knowledge. Job Offer Circa £25,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience, background and level of the right professional, plus benefits
