Overview
Our client is a leading business in Northallerton who operate Nationally, with a turnover of approx. £10million. We are looking for an experienced Accountant to run the company's accounting functions on a day-to-day basis, with support available from a part-time Finance Director. The ideal candidate will be at least part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or AAT Level 4, with experience in engineering/manufacturing/construction preferred. Key responsibilities: Assisting with year-end and cash forecasting Preparation of monthly and annual accounts review. Prepare/gather materials related cost accounting matters for internal and external auditors. Prepare annual accounts ready for Audit Coordinate/interface with cost accounting system software provider. Prepare Quarterly VAT Returns Purchase and Sales ledger duties including preparation of BACS payments, reconciliation to supplier statements, petty cash recording Involved in the processing of company payroll This is a fantastic opportunity that will give you the chance to take ownership of the company's accounting and financial analysis.
