Windows Engineer Skillfinder has a fantastic new permanent opportunity to work with one of our clients within the financial industry as a Lead Windows System Administrator based in London. The role: You will join as the Lead SA to support the company’s infrastructure and built relationships with all stakeholders. The candidate should have experience of managing large scale Microsoft installations and worked with global teams in the past. Industry experience: We are looking for a minimum of 7 years’ experience within the financial industry in a similar role. Essential skills · Experience working in an Infrastructure Operations Team. · Practical knowledge of ITIL processes, preferably knowledge with Jira / Confluence · Knowledge of server operating systems, with emphasis on Microsoft Windows, including domain structures, Active Directory, system administration, and Windows Terminal Server. · knowledge of VMWare and building and maintaining Virtual environments. · Server Hardening and vulnerability patching skills including using SCCM and other patching tools. · Experience of working with and managing O365 · Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems. · Windows 2019, 2016 & 2012 environments · PowerShell Scripting · System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) · Web Technology Support (IIS knowledge) · VMWare, HP and Dell Server Infrastructure · Application Development (.NET) · System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) Interviews are taking place via Skype so please send me your CV to have a confidential chat This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89926667
