LIMS Developer

LIMS Developer, Bristol, £450 to £500 a day, 6 month contract, Outside IR35 Your new company You will be working for a well established public sector organisation based in the HAPPIEST CITY in the world. You will be dealing with various parts of the organisation across the country and possibly at times internationally. They have a number of departments and run alot of their work from the Bristol office which is where you will be based Monday to Friday. Your new role Your new role will involve the following: Performing computerised laboratory systems, administrative duties, , access management, role permissions, system audit trail review, set up of new tests and optimisation of existing configuration as required. Mining data from software applications and investigations, reporting, metrics and trending. Researching and evaluating emerging technologies; leading and implementing software development projects to support operational improvements. Ensuring the appropriate documentation is available for regulatory compliance via preparation and revision of relevant operational and validation documentation for laboratory computerised systems. Perform help-desk functions for more complex problems in the laboratory including problem tracking, analysis, resolution, escalation, coordination and training. Planning and managing the delivery of validation projects and procedures to meet current GxP guidelines, ISO / IEC 17025 standards, industry best practise and company policy formally reviewing validation protocols, reports and procedures Process and managing quality records including change controls, deviations, Record report results using good record-keeping in compliance with GLP and/or ISO/IEC 17025 What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role you will need to have the following: Experience Developing LIMS Packages Experience of SQL Ability to work with different teams to develop all needed custom functionality, reports and enhancements for the laboratory and quality assurance / quality control operations Ability to manage and execute multiple IT tasks Knowledge of IT computing and security principles.
