Technical Copywriter London to £60k Technical Copywriter / Author (SaaS API Open Source). Pioneering technology company is seeking a wordsmith extraordinaire to showcase their technical prowess and creative flair, to overhaul their technical writing effort. They are looking for a Technical Copywriter who believes content is king, whose way with words wins the hearts of the technical community from software developers to hardware engineers. You’ll make their lives easier, allowing them to understand emerging technologies or seamlessly create new products in time-intensive conditions (producing content so clear and captivating, your how-to manual could be bed time reading). Day to day, in this Technical Copywriter role you’ll play a critical role in forming and executing the content strategy, determining content topics and managing article creation from start to finish. You’ll be the voice of the company as you’ll take ownership of writing content for the company’s blog and website, as well as partnering with designers, videographers and animators to repurpose your content across media platforms. The ideal candidate would be a passionate technologist, someone who proactively contributes to the software development community in some capacity. You don’t necessarily need to be an ex software developer - maybe your compelling content has earnt you a reputation on Stack Overflow or you have a blog dedicated to all things API. This Technical Copywriter role is a brilliant chance for someone to experiment, innovate and come into their own in trailblazing business that is establishing a brand in the global developer community. You’ll be based at offices in London, where you’ll join a dynamic cross-disciplinary team, have access to top of the range kit and endless supply of snacks.
