Android Developer £40,000 - £55,000 Leeds My client has a great opportunity for a Mid-Senior Android Developer to join their team of highly skilled developers. As an Android Developer you will be working for a software company, based in Leeds. The Android developer will have experience developing multiple, customer facing apps. You will be required to design, develop, test, document, deploy, support and sustain mobile apps for smartphones and tablets. As an Android Developer you should be able to: Leverage open source and/or build frameworks in multiple apps Understand functionality by going through the code base and functional flows TDD and Unit Testing Principles Documentation for the code developed Know architectural principles and ways to optimise for better performance of apps and participate in architecture reviews Participation in code reviews Required Skills: 3 years of Android development experience Detailed working knowledge of Android and Java Be aware of the most commonly used libraries essential for development Excellent understanding of OOP JavaScript, or TypeScript Experience in REST API’s, JSON, XML and other web services technologies Native App Design Patterns such as MVVM/MVC/MVP Programming and Debugging best practices Unit testing GIT Desirable Skills: AWS or Azure Agile environment If you are interested in this Android Developer position, then please apply or feel free to send me an email directly at .
