A capable Scientist - Physics job is required to join an industry leading team of Engineers and Scientists who are pioneering the development of early stage prototypes for next generation of electronic products. You will be working in a successful, expanding purpose built R & D centre on research projects that will be applied to next generation products and will have the opportunity to actually turn your research into products that sell in their millions around the world. You will need experience in a research or early stage product development environment and a real passion for research and development and an analytical approach to problem solving Skills that you will need for this Scientist - Physics job - Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics based subjects Practical experience in implementation of scientific method Experience in designing experiments, testing and statistical analysis of results Experience working in lab environment with mains voltage products Desirable experience for this Scientist - Physics job - Experience with the following software packages would be advantageous: OMinitab, or similar statistical software OLabView, Matlab or Python OComsol, or similar computer simulation packages This really is a multi technology, engineering driven Scientist job and will require somebody who can think concept - design - implement, in a physics environment.
