Overview
Rugeley School is an independent day school for children with Autism from the age of 5-19 years. There are two childrens homes that are linked to the School. Our school, which opened in May 2000, stands at the forefront in the education of children with Autism. We are looking to recruit a fully qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist with Sensory Integration to offer a variety of therapeutic approaches for our students all of whom have autism. This is a term time only role, working 41 weeks a year. Your duties will include planning and implementing individual sensory diets and desseminate this information to the teaching team for them to deliver. You will prepare reports and attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings. You will be based at the school but will offer support to the residential homes as necessary. This is a term time working role. Due to the nature of our location(s) being a driver and having access to a car would be beneficial.
