Overview

Payroll Administrator This role is based with a very successful local firm of accountants who are currently looking to interview immediately for a payroll administrator to join their team. Due to growth, my client are looking to expand their team and this role will offer the successful candidate a position with responsibility and room for progression and development. As payroll administrator, duties will include; Looking after a range of clients and processing monthly and weekly client payroll Processing all new starters and leavers Inputting, calculation and recording of SAP, SSP, and SMP Processing of HMRC forms including P45 and P60's Keeping up to date with legislation Assisting with the administration of auto enrollment pension schemes Dealing with client queries and escalating any ongoing queries Mentoring junior staff when required Ideal skills required Excellent working knowledge of end to end payroll Ability to use own initiative and work under pressure and to deadlines Excellent communication and organisational skills A good working knowledge of accounting software In return, you will benefit from working in a friendly and successful practice with opportunity and scope for increased responsibility and career development if desired.
