Job Title: Implementation Consultant Location: Stockport Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience Employment Opportunity: 18 month contract Imperial Professionals are looking to appoint an Implementation Consultant for one of our high-profile clients. What is the purpose of the role? To play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of first-class customer experience and achieve a full and comprehensive understanding of their needs, leading the functional implementation of a solution that is fit for purpose. Ensure our customers continue to be actively engaged and enable them to fully realise the value of the solution(s), thereby allowing us to both retain and grow the customer base. All implemented work and projects are to meet the outlined project scope, specifications, whilst having a focus on ensuring costs are controlled in order to optimise return on investment. Engaging closely with the Client, Project Manager and the Customer Experience team to plan in and successfully implement, migrate or upgrade customers over to new systems and assist with any project work as directed by the Project Management team. Highlighted Responsibilities: Working individually and with other members of the Project/Implementation team. Engage with customers to ensure solutions provided are fit for purpose and meet the Project Scope/Project Implementation Document. Facilitate and document workshops, specification/requirements gathering and training. Own and ensure that all issues are reported, escalated and resolved in a timely and proactive manner. Ensure projects tasks are actioned on time and meet the correct specification. Build and maintain a strong relationship with customers and provide customer satisfaction at all levels. Work with other departments to ensure the necessary software/hardware requirements are met and relevant upgrades are implemented/trained in line with the Projects team processes. Ensure clients can utilise the system to its full potential whilst using best practice. Execute additional tasks in order to meet departmental project/contractual related projects. Support alignment between business goals and objectives and customer needs by focusing on client’s requirements and ensuring that the business adds value at every interaction. Respond to customer queries via telephone and through site visits delivering a balance between site-based work/projects, and remote office-based project support. Build and maintain a knowledge base for use by both internal and external clients. Deliver training to customers as necessary either on site visit or by utilizing remote facilities Share the proactive engagement with the customer, communicating regularly around the issues that affect their solutions, as well as to understand their business and how we can better provide value adding insight. Escalating necessary issues to Project Manager, Technology and/or IT infrastructure for resolution. Requirements: Experience in implementing, migrating, upgrading software projects. Experience in providing on site and remote training whilst maintaining training and knowledge base materials. Good planning and organisational skills. Proactive and able to take initiative. Ability to work well on own as well as part of an integrated multi-disciplined team. Communicate effectively and be able to build relationships with people at all levels both internally and externally. Experience of business to business customer experience, software implementation lifecycles. High attention to detail.
