Role & Responsibilities of a Paraplanner: Establish and build strong relationships with a bank of clients and attend client meetings, providing a friendly and professional second point of contact. You may be required to be an additional point of contact for clients. Your involvement with clients will range from information gathering and follow up preparation of planning reports, to enable the delivery of advice on a case by case basis. Provide technical and investment support and comment on all aspects of clients’ requirements and wealth management planning. Prepare, review and update letters, proposals and reports (with consultant direction) with attention given to clients’ overall wealth management objectives. Produce clear, technically accurate, compliant and concise Financial Plans and Suitability Reports. Undertake due diligence on products, investments, outsourced providers, etc. Manage the client’s advice team, liaising with Financial Advisers, Platform Specialists, Administrators, Accountants and Solicitors as required to ensure that agreed actions are completed. Liaise with the administration teams to maintain accurate client records on the back office system, platforms and any other IT systems e.g. cashflow and risk profiler. Assisting colleagues with technical enquiries and providing support where needed. About You as a Paraplanner: Diploma qualified Minimum of two years Paraplanning experience Organised, analytical and disciplined Excellent communicator, both written and verbal Good working knowledge of back office systems Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office It would be desirable that the successful candidate is a Chartered/Certified Financial Planner, or working towards Experience of cash flow modelling software would be advantageous Please note by applying for this role you give consent for Eileen Richards Recruitment to retain your CV for up to 24months for the purposes of assisting you to find your next role unless you notify us otherwise.
