CNC Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis for this automotive engineering supplier based in Milton Keynes . Salary £24-£28k plus benefits with an early finish on Fridays, working Mon-Thu 7.30am-4.45pm and Fri 7.30am-12.30pm. As CNC Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining production by providing proactive and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment. You will carry out routine services on CNC machine centres and portable hand tools as well as trouble shoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems on machining equipment. You will be expected to purchase and maintain stock of spare parts. You will have previous experience using and maintaining CNC Machines and control systems , with good knowledge of machine diagnostics. A strong electrical bias with some mechanical knowledge will be required and you will be comfortable working with pneumatics and hydraulics . You will have the ability to install, modify, upgrade and repair factory infrastructure items including; compressed air fittings, electric sockets, lights and network cabling .
