Overview

The main purpose of this role is to facilitate the efficient allocation of workload and maintain delivery of a high-quality service to OCS customers as defined within the associated Contract specifications. Main duties will include: Supporting and assisting the Operations Manager in preparing and maintaining risk assessments, method statements for each location/task. Ensure that all pre-start safety checks are carried out as appropriate. Providing adequate information, instruction and supervision to the Window & Specialist Cleaning Operatives in your charge. Ensuring that a safe working environment is maintained through compliance with all Company Health and Safety policies and procedures. Promotion and protection of the Company's image by ensuring all Team members are presentable and behave in a courteous and professional manner. Providing first line administration of Company procedures in relation to; Workload planning, Procurement and Payroll and Absence Reporting. Ensuring compliance with all other company policies and procedures. Maintaining and reviewing comprehensive Risk assessment and method statements including the identification of Operative training needs. To be successful in this role you will need: Sound literacy and numeracy skills Minimum 5 years' experience within Specialist cleaning sector (Essential). Proven track record in delivering effective customer service (Essential). Previous experience of leading a diverse workforce (Essential). Thorough working knowledge of specialist cleaning techniques (Essential). iOSH Qualification - Working/Managing safely (Desirable). To be team oriented with the ability to motivate and manage direct reports. To be creative, results-driven, good at problem solving and organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
