As the Material Planner you will be responsible for ensuring production continuity through managing materials inventory, troubleshooting and carrying out routine maintenance on production line machinery. LOCATION: Sunbury on Thames PACKAGE: £22K - £24K Basic Salary Company Bonus, Subsidised Travel, Healthcare, Pension JOB DESCRIPTION: Work closely with planning, production and other departments as required to ensure uninterrupted production through: 1) Material planning Initiate and manage material procurement in a manner that is timely, cost effective and in line with production needs Conduct stock quality control, including specification approvals and spot-checks of materials on delivery Manage relationships with suppliers, including conflict resolution and providing vendor performance reports Coordinate with planning and production teams to ensure materials are prepared in timely manner Monitor warehouse inventory levels 1) Engineering Conduct regular maintenance of production line machinery in line with safety procedures and production needs Conduct troubleshooting and repair of production line machinery as required by the business, in line with safety procedures and production needs ABOUT YOU: For the Material Planner & Machinery Supervisor you will need the following: Experience in material planning, warehouse & inventory management Experience in machinery maintenance Fluent English, spoken and written to business level Ability to work independently, prioritising conflicting departmental demands Ability to apply judgment to diagnose and resolve technical challenges Computer-literate with working knowledge of MS excel and word Excellent organisational skills Proficient command of English in both spoken and written form You must live within a commutable distance to Sunbury on Thames
