DRIVERS ARE OUR HEROS Following the Coronavirus outbreak our drivers are doing us proud by continuing to work hard and keeping our streets clean. Due to there is a HUGE demand for HGV drivers / loaders, and WE NEED YOUR HELP Throughout the CM area, we are currently recruiting for several HGV Class 2 Dustcart Drivers / Loaders for various councils in the area on an ongoing temporary basis. As a Refuse and Recycling Driver you will be required to successfully lead a small team of refuse loaders to collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties. Work is to be completed efficiently and you must ensure the daily rounds are completed. As a Loader you will be required to prep the collection of the waste and load the Bin Lorry as and when required. Due to this, the ideal candidate will be physically fit as the role will involve lots of walking, vehicle loading, heavy lifting of sacks and pushing/pulling of loaded wheeled bins/containers (weighing upwards of 450kgs) in all weather conditions. Attention to detail and care is key You will be driving a Class 2 dustcart vehicle in residential areas; therefore you must be able to demonstrate the ability to reverse and manoeuvre in tricky areas with precision and care. Please be mindful that you will be required to complete a driving assessment/induction prior to commencing work. Working hours: Depending on what council you are working for will depend on what days or hours you work. Suitable candidates will be available Monday – Friday from 6:45am to 5pm. Salary: Agency rates: PAYE – £10 per hour Umbrella – £12 per hour Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to every application.
