Overview

Successful candidates will be required to work within a line structure and operate on a rotating shift basis (days, afternoons and nights) reporting into a Team Manager, undertaking the following: · Take personal responsibility for health and safety. · Management of automated palletiser system · Support to generate and maintain compliance to job operating procedures (JOP’s) & Risk Assessments. Carry out work in a standardised way · Minimise waste and re-cycle all product effectively. · Maintain high standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping. · Completion of relevant quality checks and records these on the correct systems ensuring appropriate action is taken when parameters are out of spec. · Actively contribute to all forms of Continuous Improvement activity · Ensure operational key information is effectively communicated to colleagues and other shift teams · Complete any relevant documentation/systems on time and in full · Complete FIPOM quality checks record on the relevant systems. · Carry out duties and tasks across the factory as deemed necessary and suitable. · Complete routine checks. · Train and coach team members in building their capability · Ensures adequate supply of raw materials /packaging to line · Fully engage with the IWS ways of working principles Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: · Experience of operating various types of MHE · Numerical and Literate ability · Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems · Experience of developing / coaching people · Ability to organise and prioritise the workload as required · Excellent team working skills · Basic PC skills · Development of interpersonal skills e.g. ability to communicate with all levels of the business, self-motivator, ability to work on own initiative, acceptance of responsibility, commitment to and for the success of the business, continually seeks improvement
